Western Digital has appointed Manuvir Das to its Board of Directors, strengthening its leadership focus on AI infrastructure and enterprise data storage. The addition was made effective starting from May 26, 2026, as the company keeps growing in relevance in terms of the data-driven AI economy.
The company stated that Das brings extensive experience across enterprise AI, cloud computing, and large-scale data infrastructure. In particular, Manuvir Das used to occupy high positions at such renowned companies as NVIDIA, Dell EMC, and Microsoft.

Additionally, Das currently serves as an Operating Partner in the Digital Infrastructure group at Stonepeak Partners LP. Previously, he had led the enterprise computing unit at NVIDIA and was responsible for overseeing the development of artificial intelligence software for enterprises. In addition, Western Digital pointed out that its experience is in line with its plan to improve storage systems that can run artificial intelligence workloads.
