Natuzzi officially announced the appointment of Aldo Uva to its Board of Directors today. Hence, it is an important decision by the executive that will begin the process of leadership transition at Natuzzi.
Secondly, the shareholders gave their approval to increase the number of board at the general meeting held on September 11, 2026. Therefore, the board expects to formally name Mr. Uva as Chief Executive Officer by mid-October. Meanwhile, Mr. Uva will engage with executive managers throughout September to ensure a smooth operational handover.
Additionally, Mr. Uva brings over 30 years of global executive experience to Natuzzi. Previously, he led strategic repositioning and operational turnarounds across multiple consumer sectors. In fact, he previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the company from 2008 to 2009. Thus, his deep familiarity with corporate operations will directly benefit Natuzzi.

Moreover, Mr. Uva previously held senior leadership roles at major international corporations. For instance, his past tenure includes executive positions at Ferrero, Nestlé, Indesit, and Incredo LTD.
