LCNB Corp appointed Susan B. Zaunbrecher to its Board of Directors today. She also joins the governing body of its subsidiary, LCNB National Bank, effective immediately. Furthermore, Zaunbrecher brings over three decades of financial services, legal, and strategic leadership experience to the organization. She recently retired as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Fortune 500 institution Fifth Third Bancorp. During her tenure there, she directed a legal team of nearly 100 professionals while guiding overarching business strategy. Her appointment strengthens the Board of Directors as the financial firm executes its long-term expansion goals.

Extensive Legal Background and Civic Leadership
Zaunbrecher currently serves as Director of Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives at legal firm Dinsmore. Prior to her executive role at Fifth Third, she spent nearly 30 years at Dinsmore. In fact, she became the first woman to chair the firm’s Corporate Department. Additionally, she served on its Executive Committee and led the Business, Acquisitions, and Securities Practice Group. Consequently, her expertise spans complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law.

Zaunbrecher holds a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a B.A. from Tulane University. In addition, she plays an active role in regional development as a civic leader. She serves on the boards of Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Museum Center, REDI Cincinnati, and Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio. With her wide-ranging experience, she brings valuable knowledge of governance to the Board of Directors.
