Lucid

Lucid announced three key executive leadership appointments on August 28, 2026. The firm has appointed Shawn Mirabal as the President of North America Commercial. Also, the firm has recruited Mike Molino as the Vice President of Finance. Moreover, Angela Zepeda has been appointed as the Vice President of Global Marketing.

“We continue to strengthen our leadership team with executives who bring deep experience and a proven track record of execution,” said Silvio Napoli, CEO at Lucid. “Shawn, Mike, and Angela are proven leaders who will each directly support our three business fundamentals: cash and cost, customer and quality, and culture and team. Their leadership will help us deliver more consistent results for our customers, shareholders, and employees.”

Industry Veterans Drive Commercial and Financial Growth

In addition to more than 27 years’ worth of experience in automotive manufacturing and retail, Mirabal also comes with an excellent track record that includes top executive positions in Nissan North America, FCA Stellantis, American Honda, and Berkshire Hathaway Automotive Group. In his most recent executive position, Mirabal was COO of #1 Cochran Automotive Group. Given Mirabal’s expertise in organizational transformation in aligning manufacturing objectives with retail execution on the ground, his strategic orientation will ensure success in commerce.

Meanwhile, Molino contributes over two decades of financial leadership in the automotive sector. Previously, he served as CFO and COO at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development North America. At Lucid, he will partner with enterprise leaders to boost financial discipline. He will also bring about more financial clarity and efficiency.

Elevating Global Brand Strategy

Zepeda joins Lucid with more than 25 years of experience leading global brands. Most recently, she held the role of Global Head of Marketing at xAI. Before that post, she spent five years as Chief Marketing Officer at Hyundai Motor America. She excels at integrating marketing operations with product development, sales, and corporate communications. Consequently, her expertise will boost global brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial momentum.

In their new capacities, Mirabal and Zepeda will report to Billy Hayes, Chief Customer Officer. Meanwhile, Molino will report directly to Alexander De Bock, Chief Financial Officer. In conclusion, such appointments emphasize the fact that Lucid keeps developing key skills necessary for further scalability.
