Invitation Homes Names James Curl as Executive VP and Chief Technology Officer

Invitation Homes announced a major executive appointment today. The company named James Curl as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Curl officially assumes his new executive responsibilities on September 8.

The goal is to fast-track its digital growth under his leadership. In addition, Invitation Homes is improving its resident services by using technological advances.

Enhancing Property Operations Through Profound Knowledge in Technology

Curl is a tech leader with more than two decades of experience in the industry. His knowledge is profound in software engineering, product management, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure development. Further, he has deep knowledge in cybersecurity platforms, data systems, and digital transformations.

Curl was the Chief Technology Officer at Xome before joining Invitation Homes. He led technology operations at Xome, which is part of Rocket Companies, since 2022. Earlier in his career, he held key technology leadership positions at T-Mobile, Deloitte Consulting, and Alcatel-Lucent. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Texas A&M University.
