8×8, Inc. has appointed Jamie Snaddon as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. This new executive role aims to strengthen strategic execution across global markets. In this position, Mr. Snaddon will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Samuel Wilson. Meanwhile, Nerea Gandarias will replace Mr. Snaddon as Managing Director for EMEA. Consequently, these organizational changes will help sharpen the company’s focus on key growth opportunities.
Advancing the CEO’s Strategic Vision
In particular, the new Chief Strategy Officer will work very closely with the company’s executives. The two parties will work together to analyze market opportunities and plan future investments. Moreover, the Chief Strategy Officer will identify the crucial areas where the company’s technology adds value to its customers.
Mr. Snaddon brings more than ten years of operational experience to his role as Chief Strategy Officer. Previously, he managed regional business expansion, profitability, and customer growth as Managing Director of EMEA. Earlier in his career at 8×8, he also led the European legal team.

Nerea Gandarias Named Managing Director of EMEA
Additionally, Nerea Gandarias will take over regional operations following the Chief Strategy Officer’s transition. Previously, Ms. Gandarias served as Global Vice President of Field and Channel Marketing. She also served as UK Country Lead, working closely with channel partners. Before joining 8×8, she spent 13 years building industry expertise at SS&C Advent.
