Kohl’s Chief Operating Officer appointment highlights the retailer’s continued focus on operational growth. Kohl’s announced that Elliott Rodgers will join the company as Chief Operating Officer on September 9, 2026. He will report directly to CEO Michael J. Bender.
Kohl’s Expands Enterprise Operations Leadership Under Elliott Rodgers
Rodgers will manage enterprise operations across the company. His responsibilities include nearly 1,200 stores, Global Supply Chain and Distribution Centers, Procurement, and Loss Prevention. Additionally, the company expects the leadership moves to support ongoing transformation efforts.

Rodgers brings more than two decades of leadership experience across retail, technology, finance, and supply chain operations. Most recently, he served as Chief Operations Officer at Foot Locker, Inc. There, he led procurement, customer care, operations strategy, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Previously, Rodgers held executive positions at project44 and Ulta Beauty. Earlier in his career, he also worked at Target and Citigroup. In addition, Rodgers served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He earned degrees from West Point and Harvard Business School.
