Genesys Chief Product Officer Olivier Jouve will retire from the company on June 30, 2026. However, he will continue supporting the business as a member of the Genesys Board of Managers. The company announced the leadership transition alongside new executive appointments.
Glenn Nethercutt and Mike Szilagyi Take Expanded Leadership Roles
Genesys promoted Glenn Nethercutt to executive vice president and chief technology officer. Previously, he served as the company’s CTO. Now, he will oversee broader responsibilities across product and technology operations.
Additionally, Genesys appointed Mike Szilagyi as general manager, senior vice president, and head of product. He will report directly to Nethercutt. Moreover, he will lead product strategy, marketing, management, and customer experience initiatives.
“Olivier has been instrumental in shaping the Genesys Cloud platform and helping establish Genesys as a leader in agentic experience orchestration,” said Tony Bates, chairman and CEO of Genesys. “His vision, leadership and focus on customers have created tremendous value for organizations around the world. We are grateful for his many contributions and pleased that he will continue to help guide the company as a member of our Board of Managers.”
Jouve helped expand the Genesys Cloud platform during his leadership tenure. The platform now serves more than 7,000 organizations globally. Furthermore, the company recently achieved $2.8 billion in annual recurring revenue during its first fiscal quarter.
“It has been a privilege to work alongside such talented teams and serve our customers around the world,” said Jouve. “Together, we built Genesys Cloud into an AI Experience Orchestration platform that helps organizations unlock new levels of operating efficiency and customer loyalty. I have tremendous confidence in Glenn, Mike and the broader leadership team, and I look forward to supporting the company’s continued success as a member of the Board.”
Nethercutt has spent more than 13 years with Interactive Intelligence and Genesys. Meanwhile, Szilagyi has played a significant role in shaping the company’s AI strategy and product direction.
“Genesys has never been better positioned to help organizations harness the power of AI to deliver more personalized, efficient and empathetic experiences,” said Nethercutt. “We’re in the early stages of a significant market opportunity, particularly as agentic AI expands what businesses can automate and orchestrate across customer and employee journeys. I’m excited to partner with Mike and our teams to build on our momentum and continue creating value for customers.”
