Lambda revealed on December 8, 2025, that it had named Heather Planishek as its new Chief Financial Officer. As Lambda expands its global AI infrastructure, it strengthens its management. This marks a decisive move securing its financial strategy.
Planishek is loaded with the right kind of experience that a rapidly growing tech company would require. Most recently, she was Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Tines, an intelligent workflow platform. Before that, she was the Chief Accounting Officer at Palantir Technologies, where she was instrumental in the company’s going public. In the earlier part of her career, she was in the leadership team at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and Ernst & Young.
Planishek became a member of the Board of Directors at Lambda in July 2025. As she moves to the position of CFO, she will relinquish her board membership. She will oversee the financial strategy, planning, accounting, treasury, investor relations, and business systems of Lambda in her new role. These departments will support the company’s operations as it continues expanding AI labs, hyperscalers, enterprises, and its community of developers.
Lambda is the engine of the technology revolution that will change the world, said Planishek. I look forward to joining the leadership team and delivering financial and operational support to advance Lambda’s growth and leadership.
Lambda is looking forward to speeding up its cloud infrastructure mission with a finance chief like Planishek onboard.
