Allocate Strengthens Executive Bench with CTO and CFO Appointments

Allocate

Allocate today announced two major executive appointments. The company named Naim Falandino as Chief Technology Officer. Additionally, it named Arnold Engel as Chief Financial Officer and head of embedded financial products. These appointments bolster leadership for wealth advisory firms and fund managers.

Falandino will directly oversee the 40-person Engineering team at Allocate. This group includes a newly established Data Engineering team. Andrew Rodman leads this new data engineering initiative. Rodman joined Allocate in June 2026 after ten years at Clearwater Analytics. Product and Engineering personnel now comprise nearly half of the workforce at Allocate. The firm continues building AI-native tooling for wealth advisors. These tools help advisors seamlessly build private market exposure for clients.

Engel will direct the finance organization at Allocate. He will also accelerate the development of embedded financial tools. These upcoming solutions include new lending and banking tools. They will provide advisors and clients with ways to generate liquidity.

As private markets expand, advisors face more complex data sets. Allocate transforms that raw data into actionable intelligence. Consequently, advisors can host better client conversations and make informed decisions.

“Private markets are a core part of how sophisticated advisors and institutions build portfolios, but the technology and financial infrastructure supporting them haven’t kept pace, and AI will be a key tool for creating better client outcomes,” said Samir Kaji, CEO and Co-Founder of Allocate. “For our clients, closing that gap means better tools to personalize investment offerings and understand portfolio fit, along with new financial solutions built on the platform they already use. We are pleased to have Naim and Arnold leading these efforts.”

Proven Leadership for Next-Gen Private Market Infrastructure

Falandino brings over 20 years of technical leadership experience. His expertise covers data science, machine learning, and engineering. Most recently, he served as Head of Product at Insurance Quantified. He joined that firm after it acquired Groundspeed. Falandino previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Groundspeed. Furthermore, he held senior data science roles at Deepfield and Nokia.

“I’ve spent my career turning complex data into products people can act on, from insurance underwriting to network analytics,” said Falandino. “Private markets face the same challenge, and Allocate has built the foundation to address it. Now the work is extending that foundation so clients get the same intelligence whether they’re on our platform or working in the systems their teams already use.”

Engel offers substantial experience as a two-time founder and CEO. He previously co-founded and led Tundra, a wholesale marketplace. He also led Vox Supply Chain and began his career at McKinsey.

“Advisors are used to the convenience of public markets, and private markets still offer far fewer liquidity and financing options,” said Engel. “Allocate already supports clients across the full investment lifecycle, so we’re well placed to bring both directly into the platform they use every day.”

These executive appointments follow two key hires at Allocate. The company hired Matt Dunn as Chief Revenue Officer in July. Additionally, it hired Zoheib Chatoor as Head of Investor Servicing in September. Dunn leads growth strategy across wealth and asset management channels. Chatoor builds the operating model to elevate client experiences at Allocate as it scales.
