Picsart announced a major executive leadership appointment today. The company named Lusine Yeghiazaryan as Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, her appointment is beneficial for Picsart, as it enters the AI-driven video ecosystem space.
The organizational transformation takes place amid fast-growing platform development within the global creators’ markets. The users have made more than 1.1 billion AI pieces on the platform. As a result, Picsart saw a 270 percent increase year-over-year in AI usage year-to-date.
Accelerated AI Innovations and Global Creators Scale
The company further develops its full-stack creative technology globally. In particular, Picsart provides video tools, CLI tools, and an AI agents marketplace.
Furthermore, the platform integrates seamlessly with advanced developer workflows and desktop environments. Through these innovations, Picsart positions itself to capture expanding market share in digital media production.
Hovhannes Avoyan, Founder and CEO of Picsart, said: “Lusine joins Picsart at an inflection point for both our company and the broader creative technology market. As AI and video transform how people create and communicate, we are focused on scaling the opportunities with the greatest potential to drive long-term growth and value. Lusine’s experience building and guiding high-growth technology businesses will be instrumental as we execute on that ambition.”
Yeghiazaryan brings extensive technology leadership experience to her new role. Previously, she served as Chief Financial Officer at cloud technology leader SADA Systems. There, she expanded AI revenue streams and guided a strategic acquisition by Insight Enterprises. Furthermore, the executive’s career features leadership positions with Deloitte, GoPro, and Diebold Nixdorf.
Yeghiazaryan will drive global finance and capital allocation as the new CFO of Picsart. As the CFO, she concentrates on linking financial strategy with the company’s video-first product offerings of the company. Also, she combines fiscal conservatism with swift development of AI software.
Lusine Yeghiazaryan, CFO of Picsart, adds: “Picsart has the rare combination of global scale, strong consumer affinity and significant upside across some of technology’s most dynamic markets. I’m excited to help shape the company’s next chapter by pairing ambitious investment in AI and video with disciplined execution and a clear focus on monetization and value creation. We are ready to scale our capabilities while delivering lasting value to our customers and profitable growth of our business.”
