OLX Group Appoints Andrew Garrihy as New Chief Marketing Officer

Global online classifieds leader OLX Group recently named Andrew Garrihy as its new OLX Chief Marketing Officer. Garrihy officially joined the executive team on 1 July 2026. Consequently, he now reports directly to Chief Executive Officer Christian Gisy. The company manages nearly 60 million listings daily across seven global markets.

Garrihy will spearhead the next phase of the company’s global marketing strategy. Specifically, he will build user demand across all marketplaces. He must also ensure that professional customers understand the brand’s full value. Furthermore, his core remit includes embedding artificial intelligence deeply into the marketing function.

Extensive International Tech Experience

The new OLX Chief Marketing Officer brings vast international marketing experience to the role. Previously, he oversaw campaigns across more than 170 countries. Garrihy served as the CMO of OLX Autos between 2022 and 2023. After that, he worked as a senior advisor to the firm. He also held senior executive roles at Huawei, Qualcomm, Samsung, and Vodafone. In those positions, he led global teams to transform major brands.

Industry peers recognize Garrihy as a rare, full-stack marketer. Therefore, he possesses deep expertise in both strategic and technical disciplines. He also has hands-on experience building AI agents and digital products. As a result, he will play a central role in transforming daily marketing operations.

Strong Revenue Growth and AI Investment

This executive appointment follows a period of exceptionally strong financial performance for the group. For instance, global revenue jumped 28% year-on-year to 992 million US dollars. These financial results concluded for the full year ended 31 March 2026. Currently, the group continues to build on this massive growth momentum. The brand has invested over 200 million dollars in AI across its platforms since 2018.
