Full-stack AI cloud platform Nscale today announced two strategic executive appointments. These additions significantly strengthen the overall governance and operational leadership of Nscale. First, Frank Slootman joined the company board as an Independent Director. His appointment takes effect immediately. Slootman currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Snowflake. Second, Nscale named Adam Rosman as Chief Legal Officer. Rosman will assume his new corporate duties on October 1, 2026.

Slootman previously served as CEO of Snowflake from 2019 until 2024. During his tenure, he led its historic 2020 initial public offering. Earlier, he served as CEO at ServiceNow starting in 2011. He guided ServiceNow through its successful 2012 public debut. Furthermore, he transformed ServiceNow into a comprehensive enterprise platform. Before that role, Slootman led Data Domain as CEO through its 2007 IPO. EMC subsequently acquired Data Domain. Slootman then served as President of EMC’s Backup Recovery Systems Division.

This appointment follows the recent addition of Fidji Simo to the board. The full board at Nscale includes Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker, Nick Clegg, Øyvind Eriksen, Rael Nurick, Jacob Leschly, and Josh Payne.
Expanding Executive Leadership and Legal Governance Capabilities
Meanwhile, Adam Rosman transitions to Nscale from his current leadership position at Fiserv. At Fiserv, he serves as Chief Legal and Administrative Officer. In his new capacity, Rosman will report directly to Josh Payne.

Rosman brings over three decades of operating and legal expertise across financial services and payments. He joined Fiserv in July 2021. There, he directed legal, compliance, and government relations. Prior to Fiserv, Rosman served as General Counsel at OneMain Financial. He also served as General Counsel at First Data from 2014 to 2019. In that role, he helped guide the major merger with Fiserv. Earlier in his career, he served as Group General Counsel at Willis Group Holdings. Additionally, he worked as Associate General Counsel at Cablevision Systems Corporation.
Rosman initially launched his legal career through public service. He clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Gladys Kessler. Later, he served as a federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C. He also served as Deputy Staff Secretary to President Bill Clinton. Finally, he practiced law as a partner at Zuckerman Spaeder LLP. These strategic hires significantly reinforce Nscale as it expands global AI cloud operations.
