Ledger has officially appointed former Fireblocks executive Oded Blatman as Chief Information Officer and Chief Security Officer. In this dual leadership role, Blatman reports directly to Chairman and CEO Pascal Gauthier. Furthermore, he will oversee cyber infrastructure, product research via the Donjon team, and workplace safety. He also directs enterprise risk management, supplier assurance, and internal technology infrastructure. Meanwhile, modern threats are rapidly evolving across global digital financial networks.
Automated AI attacks now deploy phishing, deepfakes, and autonomous exploit vectors. Consequently, Ledger is expanding its organizational defenses to secure high-value digital assets. Software tools alone cannot protect critical wealth at massive scale. Therefore, hardware-backed verification provides the essential root trust required for asset tokenization. By combining technology and security under one executive, Ledger aligns its core operational priorities.

Blatman brings extensive technical experience from his previous tenure at Fireblocks. During those five years, he built global technology teams through periods of rapid expansion. Previously, he served as Global CISO at Bank Hapoalim, Israel’s largest banking institution. He also managed security at ClickSoftware prior to its acquisition by Salesforce.
