Leading global software provider IRIS Software Group recently hired technology veteran Surya Sagi. Crucially, Sagi steps into the newly created role of Chief Data and AI Officer, starting his duties immediately. Sagi brings more than 30 years of engineering experience to the team. He is an expert in scaling large cloud-native SaaS ecosystems and integrating key enterprise data architectures. His role as the AI Officer will therefore directly influence the technical direction of the brand.
Previously, Sagi managed corporate strategy at multiple successful enterprises. He recently founded ARKA AI and ARKA Advisors to assist companies moving from simple experimentation to fully governed implementations. Before that venture, he successfully served as the Chief Technology Officer for Pitney Bowes.

From the driver’s seat, Sagi will have full control over the organization’s overall data and AI strategy.
