Home Bancorp has separated the Chief Executive Officer and President roles to strengthen leadership and support long-term growth. The Chief Executive Officer transition takes effect on July 1, 2026. Additionally, the Board of Directors promoted Darren E. Guidry to President of Home Bancorp and Home Bank, N.A. John W. Bordelon will continue serving as Chief Executive Officer for both organizations.

The company approved the leadership change as part of its ongoing management succession strategy. The new structure aligns leadership responsibilities while improving operational execution and strategic decision-making. Darren Guidry currently serves as Chief Risk Officer and will step down from that position following his promotion.

Leadership Structure Supports Future Growth

Home Bancorp designed the new leadership model to strengthen executive focus across key business areas. John W. Bordelon will continue to be responsible for corporate strategy, capital planning, and shareholder relations. In the interim, Darren E. Guidry will oversee the company’s daily operations and the implementation of strategic priorities.

Guidry will also collaborate with the executive leadership team to enhance organizational performance. He will also continue to drive strong credit quality, effective risk management and excellent customer service across the firm.”

Darren E. Guidry has been the Chief Risk Officer since October 2022. Prior to that, he served as Chief Credit Officer from October 2013. Earlier, he held the position of Chief Lending Officer beginning in 1993. Throughout his career, he strengthened the company’s credit discipline and enterprise risk oversight. Moreover, he supported balanced growth while reinforcing long-term shareholder value.
