To fast track its platform-led growth strategy, Hexaware has appointed Srinivasan Panchapakesan as its Chief Platform Officer. Hexaware Names Chief Platform Officer to Lead Company’s Unified AI Platform Portfolio. Further, Hexaware’s Chief Platform Officer will propel enterprise AI adoption and fortify cloud modernization initiatives across industries.
In his new role, Srinivasan will lead the development, integration and growth of Hexaware’s platform portfolio. It includes Amaze® for cloud modernization, RapidX® for AI-accelerated software engineering, Tensai® for agentic IT operations, and Agentverse™ for enterprise AI agents. He will also expand collaboration with the company’s AI ecosystem partners across the entire AI-native software development lifecycle.
In addition, Srinivasan will also lead the platform roadmap, governance structure and the enterprise-wide deployment of Hexaware’s unified platform ecosystem. His leadership is helping to drive the company’s strategy to help organizations move beyond isolated AI pilots to production-ready enterprise AI deployments.
The appointment comes as companies seek practical ways to incorporate artificial intelligence into day-to-day operations. So Hexaware is bringing its technology platforms on a common AI-native foundation rather than having them as separate products. This allows enterprise customers to modernize holistically, without having to manage a bunch of different solutions.
Hexaware Enhances Platform-Led AI Strategy
The platforms will be integrated into a connected ecosystem during Srinivasan’s time, rather than being independent technology silos. In addition, the integrated portfolio will be distributed across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud and will operate in conjunction with hyperscaler services. The goal of this approach is to improve scalability, consistency and operational efficiency for enterprise customers.
Srinivasan has over 35 years of industry experience for the role. He has also spent over 27 years with Hexaware in platform engineering, global delivery and execution of large programs. Most recently, he was Senior Corporate Vice President and Global Delivery Head for Digital & Software.
He also played a key role with his team in the development of Amaze® and RapidX®. These platforms continue to underpin Hexaware’s platform led services strategy. He has also led a number of complex digital transformation projects in the banking, insurance, life sciences and manufacturing industries. He brings more than 200 professional certifications and published thought leadership on platform strategy and AI-native software delivery to the table.
“Platforms are central to how we will serve enterprise clients over the next decade, and this role reflects that priority,” said R. Srikrishna, CEO and Executive Director, Hexaware. “Srinivasan has the technical depth and the client understanding to lead it, and I have every confidence in what he will build.”
Leadership Focuses on Enterprise AI Adoption
The newly created leadership role reflects Hexaware’s commitment to helping enterprises accelerate modernization through connected AI platforms. Consequently, organizations can reduce technology fragmentation while building scalable digital capabilities across business operations.
“Every enterprise is asking the same question right now. How do we move from AI pilots to AI that is grounded in our own code, our own data, and our own decisions?” said Srinivasan Panchapakesan, President and Chief Platform Officer, Hexaware. “When strong platforms grow in silos, their value fragments instead of reinforcing each other. Bringing them onto one foundation closes that gap for us and for our clients, so every platform and every engagement draws on the same knowledge and AI-native services, and clients get auditable, agentic AI they can trust in production.”
The new charter is designed to remove barriers that often delay modernization projects. At the same time, it aims to narrow the gap between current enterprise capabilities and future AI-driven business objectives. Through an integrated platform strategy, Hexaware continues to strengthen its position in cloud modernization, enterprise AI, software engineering, digital transformation, and intelligent IT operations.
