FMC Corporation announced the election of Michael F. Barry to the Board of Directors effective February 27, 2026. He will serve on Audit, Compensation, and Human Capital committees during tenure at FMC. Barry brings over three decades of global leadership experience in the specialty chemicals industry worldwide.

Leadership Career and Board Governance Experience
Mr. Barry has worked with the company since 1998. He has worked in different capacities, including the position of the company’s chief financial officer. He has worked as the company’s chief executive officer since 2008. He has worked as the chairman of the company since 2009. The revenues have grown under his leadership. The revenues have grown from $451 million in 2009 to $1.8 billion in 2021. The company has completed 27 strategic acquisitions, expanding its global footprint and capabilities. He led a 2019 combination of Quaker Chemical and Houghton International, doubling company’s revenue and footprint.
