FlexCare Names Chief Client Officer Ryan White to NATHO Board of Directors

FlexCare

FlexCare announces a major leadership milestone today. The FlexCare Chief Client Officer, Ryan White, earned a seat on the NATHO Board of Directors. Specifically, he will serve the National Association of Travel Healthcare Organizations. FlexCare leads the nation in travel nursing and allied health solutions. Consequently, this election strengthens the bond between workforce leaders and industry regulators.

White has spent over 15 years at FlexCare. He managed the full lifecycle of travel healthcare. For example, he started by recruiting clinicians. Later, he moved into leading enterprise-level client strategy. Currently, he partners with hospitals and health systems. He also works closely with managed service providers. In his executive role, he delivers flexible talent solutions. These strategies help healthcare organizations balance high costs. Furthermore, they enable better talent acquisition. He focuses on building long-term workforce partnerships. Therefore, he avoids simple transactional staffing models.

Driving Sustainable Healthcare Solutions

His deep experience provides a valuable lens. Healthcare organizations currently face severe workforce shortages. They also have trouble with operations that are becoming more difficult. White prefers long-term solutions to short-term fixes. This is in line with where the travel healthcare industry is headed. Therefore, his voice on the NATHO Board will be vital. He aims to shape the future of the sector.

“Ryan’s experience spans both the operational and strategic sides of workforce management,” said Holly Bass, Executive Director of NATHO. “That combination, along with his deep partnerships with hospitals and MSPs, brings a level of insight that’s especially valuable as we address the industry’s most complex challenges.”

White expressed his excitement about the new responsibility. He noted the timing is pivotal for the industry.

“I’m honored to have been elected to the NATHO Board at such a pivotal time for our industry,” said White. “As hospitals continue to face staffing shortages, rising costs, and increasing complexity across workforce operational and policy environments, it’s more important than ever that we work collaboratively as an industry. I look forward to contributing to initiatives that support ethical standards, innovation, and long-term sustainability in travel healthcare, helping drive meaningful progress for both healthcare organizations and the clinicians who support them.”
