Booz Allen Hamilton Names Troy Lahr CFO, Promotes Kristine Martin Anderson as President

Booz Allen Hamilton CFO leadership changes mark a major step in the company’s growth plan. Booz Allen Hamilton today announced new executive appointments to strengthen its role in advanced technology markets. The company serves U.S. federal agencies and global commercial clients. Effective May 4, 2026, Troy Lahr will become Executive Vice President and Booz Allen Hamilton CFO. He brings more than 25 years of finance and business leadership experience. He has worked across commercial technology and defense sectors.

As CFO, Lahr will oversee fiscal performance, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, and financial operations. He will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Horacio Rozanski. Previously, Lahr served as CFO at Sierra Space. There, he led financial strategy and company performance. He also managed accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and financial planning.

Before that, Lahr worked as CFO for Boeing’s $27 billion Defense, Space & Security business. In addition, he held several senior roles at Boeing. Those roles included investor relations, controller, and mergers and acquisitions leadership. Lahr began his career in investment banking. He spent more than a decade as an aerospace and defense equity analyst for Stifel.

Leadership Expansion Supports Growth Strategy

Effective May 1, 2026, Chief Operating Officer Kristine Martin Anderson will also assume the role of President. She has also served as acting CFO since February 2026. She will continue reporting to Rozanski.

“Kristine is the driving force in executing Booz Allen’s growth strategy and leading operations as we accelerate our technology transformation,” said Rozanski. “This position reflects her success as COO and her leadership across our entire business. I look forward to continuing to partner with her as we advance our strategic priorities and build the future of Booz Allen.”

Anderson has worked at Booz Allen for 20 years. She became COO in 2022. Earlier, she led the Civil Sector business. She focused on mission modernization across U.S. federal civilian agencies. She also held senior roles focused on growth and innovation.

Also effective May 1, 2026, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Shannon Fitzgerald will become President of the Civil Sector. Meanwhile, Richard Crowe, current President of the Civil Sector, will move into the role of Chief Growth Officer. These appointments highlight the company’s focus on leadership strength, digital transformation, and long-term expansion.
