The appointment is to take effect from February 23, 2026, and will enhance worldwide SaaS sales leadership. Walker will directly report to the Chief Executive Officer, Scott McFarlane, and will be responsible for the expansion of the global sales organization. Walker brings to Avalara over 15 years of experience in leading revenue growth and high-performing SaaS sales teams worldwide. Before joining Avalara, Walker was the Chief Sales Officer at a publicly held SaaS company, where she contributed to the scaling of revenue to $2 billion in highly competitive global technology markets. Walker started her career as a sales representative and has progressed through her career with increasing leadership roles and experience in customer engagement.
