Asana announced today that CEO Dan Rogers has taken on the additional role of Board Chair, effective September 25, 2026. Simultaneously, the company appointed enterprise AI innovators Jerry Ting and Tom Berquist as new Directors. Co-founder Dustin Moskovitz steps down as Board Chair after leading since 2019. However, Moskovitz remains active on the Asana Board as a Director while maintaining his full shareholding position. Lead Independent Director Krista Anderson-Copperman continues in her role to support corporate governance.
Agentic Automation Integrates AI with Human Enterprise Workflows
These key governance changes align with Asana expanding its multi-product platform through Agentic Work Management and Agentic Apps. Furthermore, the company aims to integrate human teams with autonomous AI agents across modern enterprise workflows.

Jerry Ting brings extensive applied artificial intelligence experience to the Asana leadership team. Previously, Ting founded Evisort before Workday acquired the contract intelligence platform in 2024. Subsequently, he served as Vice President and General Manager of AI and Agents at Workday.
