Intel Declares Leadership Appointment to Strengthen Customer Engagement and Accelerate Growth

Intel Corporation today announced a major strategic move to boost global customer engagement. The tech giant appointed Dean Jarnac as executive vice president and chief sales officer. Jarnac will lead the entire global sales organization starting this September. In this pivotal role, he will directly report to Intel Chief Executive Officer Lip-Bu Tan. He will focus on expanding customer partnerships across all major computing segments.

In particular, Jarnac will be in charge of the sales execution of client platforms, data centers, and standard artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Furthermore, his responsibilities include advanced custom ASICs and networking solution portfolios. Intel wants to boost its overall market presence by taking a more proactive strategy for engaging with customers globally. The company expects to see faster adoption of its products and deeper relationships with its clients.

Semiconductor Proven Leadership & Expertise

Jarnac brings more than 30 years of deep semiconductor industry experience to Intel. He was Chief Sales Officer at Marvell. He managed global sales, field application engineering, and sales operations at Marvell. Before Marvell, Jarnac was a senior sales executive for Broadcom and AMD. His track record speaks volumes about his ability to build high-performance sales organizations across a range of markets. 

Therefore, Intel relies on his deep technical expertise to refine customer engagement practices. Additionally, his strong industry network will help Intel enter key strategic accounts faster.
