Peraton Labs Appoints Steve Kropac as Vice President of Innovation Engine Leadership Role

Peraton Labs, the advanced research and development arm of Peraton, has appointed Steve Kropac as Vice President and General Manager. This is an important step in furthering Peraton’s innovation capabilities.

Peraton, known for cutting-edge work in cybersecurity, telecommunications, and national security systems, continues to expand its technological capabilities. In addition, the company concentrates on creating innovative products to meet the needs of the defense community and governments. With his new position at Peraton, Steve Kropac will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations & growing the company’s applied research division. Additionally, he will lead efforts to accelerate advanced technology development across mission-critical programs.

Todd Borkey, Chief Technology Officer at Peraton, highlighted Kropac’s expertise. Moreover, he pointed out that Kropac’s leadership would aid in bringing innovation from the lab bench to practical use. Kropac has more than 30 years of experience in the technology and defense industry. He was formerly the chief technology officer at Chesapeake Technology International. Additionally, he held several top executive positions in CACI, overseeing programs involving cyber operations at a large scale in various states. Also, Kropac holds master’s and doctoral degrees in computer engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
