Michael Fleisher

Faire announced that Michael Fleisher has joined its Board of Directors. The global wholesale technology platform confirmed the appointment on Thursday. The company welcomed Michael Fleisher, former Chief Financial Officer of Wayfair. He will also serve as Chair of the Audit Committee. Additionally, he brings decades of leadership experience in commerce and marketplace platforms. Faire continues to expand its technology-driven wholesale marketplace. Therefore, the appointment supports its next stage of global growth and operational scale.

Previously, Michael Fleisher served as CFO at Wayfair. During that time, he guided the company through its initial public offering. Moreover, he helped scale Wayfair’s revenue from $1 billion to over $12 billion annually. He also supported the company’s global expansion and large fulfillment operations. Consequently, his leadership played a key role in strengthening Wayfair’s international marketplace growth.

Earlier in his career, Fleisher led Warner Music Group’s IPO as Chief Financial Officer. Later, he served as Vice Chairman for Strategy and Operations. In addition, he previously worked as Chief Executive Officer of Gartner, Inc. Currently, Fleisher serves on several prominent corporate boards. These include Squarespace, Goat Group, and First Watch.

Leadership Strengthens Faire’s Marketplace Growth

Max Rhodes, co-founder and CEO of Faire, highlighted the importance of Fleisher’s appointment.

“What impressed me most about Michael was not just his track record, but how he thinks,” said Max Rhodes, co-founder and CEO of Faire. “He has a deep understanding of what it takes to scale complex commerce businesses, and he approaches challenges with rigor and curiosity. His perspective will add valuable depth to our board as Faire continues to grow in scale and sophistication.”

The appointment of Michael Fleisher reflects growing confidence in Faire’s business fundamentals. Furthermore, the company continues to report strong performance across its wholesale platform. In 2025, Faire’s revenue increased by 32 percent. Growth accelerated to 37 percent during the second half of the year. As a result, the company now annualizes revenue at approximately $550 million.

Independent retailers continue to increase their engagement on the platform. Therefore, Faire sees strong opportunities to expand wallet share over time. The company also aims to become the central operating system for wholesale commerce. As Audit Committee Chair, Michael Fleisher will support financial planning and operational discipline. His experience will help the company manage rapid scale and marketplace expansion.

“I’m honored to be working with Max, Jason, and the entire team at Faire,” said Fleisher. “I’ve long believed in the power of local retail, having grown up in a family retail business. Bringing the scale and efficiency of a tech-enabled platform to independent retailers and giving them the tools to build stores their communities truly love is a huge opportunity. Faire is well positioned for its next stage of growth, and I’m looking forward to helping the team execute on their vision.”

Recently, Faire also appointed Christopher Payne to its board. Payne previously served as Chief Operating Officer at DoorDash. Meanwhile, Fleisher will replace Ellie Mertz’s position on the board
