Willett brings more than three decades of experience leading industrial automation, machine vision and global operations at top technology firms. He previously led Cognex Corporation through sustained growth and global scaling as its Chief Executive Officer. His industry insight will guide Formlabs’ strategic vision to expand hardware and software solutions across markets.

Formlabs continues advancing its long-term goal to make hardware production as fast and scalable as software development. The company has sold more professional SLA and SLS printers than any competitor, supporting innovation across industries. Customers have printed over 500 million parts for development, manufacturing, and healthcare applications. Formlabs also revealed that Carl Bass will step down from the board after more than eight years of dedicated leadership.
