Mediacom Communications announced the appointment of Giuseppe Commisso as the new CEO and chairman of Mediacom. This comes at a time when Mediacom needs more strength in the telecommunications industry. This appointment comes after the Mediacom CEO and founder, Rocco Commisso, died at the beginning of the year. Giuseppe was chosen for the position after serving the company for a long time in different capacities at Mediacom Communications. He previously worked as vice chairman and interim CEO at Mediacom Communications. Giuseppe currently works as the Mediacom CEO.

Leadership Experience and Industry Outlook
Mediacom CEO Commisso brings with him close to two decades of experience with Mediacom. Commisso takes on this CEO role at Mediacom at a time. When the industry in which Mediacom operates is facing headwinds in the market. As well as increased demand from customers for connectivity at higher speeds. Besides being the CEO at Mediacom, Commisso is also the club’s president at the Italian Serie A football club, ACF Fiorentina. Commisso graduated with a degree in civil engineering. From Columbia University and also fulfilled his requirements at Harvard Business School with regard to the Cable Executive Management program. Mediacom is one of the largest cable providers in the United States, serving over three million customers across 22 states.
