Workiva Inc. has announced the appointment of Barbara Larson as their new chief financial officer. To help the company sharpen its financial strategy and achieve operational excellence. According to the company, Larson will be coming in part of the leadership team expansion on January 20, 2026.
Larson is coming to Workiva with a wide range of experience over two decades in the area of financial leadership. She was most recently the CFO of SentinelOne, where she was in charge of finance and accounting departments. Earlier on, she had been in charge of the financial department at Workday as a Chief Financial Officer. Had been providing business strategy and product development advisory services.

As a leader, Larson will be responsible for the oversight of financial strategy and operations of Workiva while the organization. Is getting ready for the rapid global growth and the expansion of the use of its secure, audit-ready, AI-powered platform. She will work closely with the company’s leadership team to implement essential operational rigor across the organization effectively.

Before her work at SentinelOne and Workday, Larson was in charge of executive finance at VMware, TIBCO Software, and Symantec. She is also a member of the board of directors at Equifax. Workiva also made an announcement that Julie Iskow will perform. The role of Interim CFO from December 27, 2025, until the day Larson comes in.
