The Company announced the appointment of Jordan Gutierrez as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 26, 2026. Jordan Gutierrez succeeds Ali Tajskandar as part of this leadership transition. Ali Tajskandar stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Wishpond to lead SalesCloser. SalesCloser is functioning as an independent publicly listed firm following its spin-off from Wishpond on March 26, 2026. However, Ali Tajskandar will continue to be part of Wishpond’s Board of Directors.
Jordan Gutierrez stepped down from his position of Chief Operating Officer upon being offered the position of Chief Executive Officer. In addition, the existing management team will assist in the Company’s day-to-day operations. Wishpond continues evaluating its executive structure to improve operational efficiency and execution.

Jordan Gutierrez has been an integral part of Wishpond’s leadership team since 2011. Before this, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Wishpond. In this position, he was in charge of the revenue growth and marketing. Jordan Gutierrez was at the center of the growth of Wishpond over the years. In addition to this, Jordan Gutierrez was in charge of the go-to-market strategy for the entire product portfolio at Wishpond. Prior to this position at Wishpond, Jordan Gutierrez founded Laleo. Today, this is a highly successful medical e-commerce business in Latin America.
During his tenure at Laleo, the business recorded impressive revenues in the eight figures. His business and leadership successes have been recognized in various forms. For instance, Jordan Gutierrez was recognized with the Western Canada Entrepreneur of the Year and the SFU Student Entrepreneur of the Year. He also received Canada’s Student Entrepreneur of the Year recognition for his contributions. Jordan Gutierrez holds a degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University.
