The Trade Desk announced a significant corporate addition on July 17, 2026. The prominent advertising technology firm officially appointed industry expert Vinny Rinaldi to a key executive role. Rinaldi will serve as vice president, client strategy and growth. He will report directly to Chief Operating Officer Vivek Kundra. He will also start his official duties on July 27.
In his new capacity, Rinaldi will work closely with marketers around the world. He wants to help them unlock major value from data-driven advertising campaigns. Thus, his expert team will come up with a strong plan to grow the business. This framework will rely deeply on Client Strategy parameters to navigate the media ecosystem. Marketers can therefore maximize their long-term growth across the premium open internet.
Veteran AdTech Expertise Strengthens Executive Growth
Rinaldi brings over two decades of corporate marketing experience to the company. Most recently, he managed consumer connections as a Vice President at The Hershey Company. Previously, he led critical digital transformation initiatives at Amazon and Google. He also executed complex media portfolios during successful tenures at GroupM and Dentsu. Therefore, his versatile background spans top technology platforms and major advertising agencies.
“The future of advertising belongs to marketers who can combine data, technology and human expertise to make smarter decisions,” said Jeff Green, CEO and Co-Founder of The Trade Desk. “Vinny understands what it takes to help brands transform themselves for that future. He brings a unique combination of strategic vision, marketing expertise and customer focus that will help our clients thrive as AI reshapes our industry.”
The new executive will continually align enterprise tools with modern artificial intelligence. Specifically, he will craft Client Strategy architectures that optimize connected TV investments. He also plans to capture high-growth opportunities within retail media and digital audio. Through these tools, brands can easily connect technology investments to clear business outcomes.
“The advertising industry is entering a new era where marketers have unprecedented opportunities to make every advertising dollar work harder,” said Rinaldi. “The Trade Desk has consistently led the industry by giving marketers more transparency, more control and better performance. I’m excited to join the team and help customers harness data, technology and AI to achieve stronger business outcomes.”
Ultimately, this executive addition underscores the firm’s focus on objective media buying. The business recently expanded its core leadership team to sustain market momentum. For instance, the company recently hired Nate Olmstead as Chief Financial Officer. It also brought in Sarah Gavin as Chief Marketing Officer. Additionally, Kristi Argyilan joined the firm as Chief Commercial Officer. Rinaldi will integrate his Client Strategy systems with these executives to ensure long-term stability.
