Kevin has over twenty-five years of leadership experience in the management of legal affairs for high-growth technology companies. Kevin has hands-on experience in dealing with different regulatory issues that companies face in different parts of the world. He has joined Solifi from JAGGAER, a leading company that provides enterprise technology for procurement, supplier collaboration, and supply chain management for organizations all over the world.
At JAGGAER, Kevin was the general counsel of the company, where he was responsible for leading its global legal operations and regulatory compliance strategies. Kevin also helped various leadership teams navigate various regulatory issues, strategic corporate decisions, and international business growth during his time at JAGGAER. He also helped strengthen governance structures while maintaining high standards of compliance during his time at JAGGAER.
Significant Legal Experience and Industry Expertise
Prior to JAGGAER, Mr. Smith held senior-level executive leadership positions in the legal organization at Red Hat during a period of significant technology industry evolution. Mr. Smith was part of the company during its historic acquisition by IBM, one of the largest technology acquisitions in the history of the technology industry. His experience in this period further enhanced his expertise in complex technology transactions and technology sector regulatory requirements. Mr. Smith’s earlier career included a period in the practice of law in the corporate law group at Wilmer Hale.
