Smarsh has made a significant change in its leadership. Smarsh has recently named Alessandro Silva as its new Chief Growth Officer. The newly created position combines the three commercial groups of the company.
Driving Global Scale and Strategic Execution
The company designed this strategic move to accelerate operational execution worldwide. Smarsh aims to speed up decision-making processes for enterprise clients. Moreover, leadership wants to deliver a highly consistent customer experience across different regional markets. Kim Crawford Goodman, the CEO of Smarsh, shared her perspective on this executive appointment.
“Smarsh has an exceptional foundation for global growth: trusted technology, talented people, and a customer base that includes 80% of the world’s top global banks,” said Kim Crawford Goodman, CEO of Smarsh. “Alessandro brings the global perspective and proven leadership we need to turn that opportunity into sustained growth.”
A Proven Leader for Commercial Success
Smarsh has gained Alessandro Silva, who is a leader with a great deal of experience in driving revenues across the globe. He was working as Chief Revenue Officer at ACI Worldwide before joining Smarsh. At this position, he effectively led global commercial teams, customer success efforts, and go-to-market strategy. Previously, he held different management positions at reputable companies such as Western Union, GE Capital, and The Carlyle Group.
Alessandro Silva expressed enthusiasm regarding his new responsibilities at Smarsh.
“Growth may be my mandate, but it is a shared mission, and every team across Smarsh has a role in achieving it,” said Silva. “My focus is turning our strengths into a connected commercial strategy that helps us serve customers more effectively and scale with greater speed and consistency.”
Strengthening Regional Market Presence
Industry experts highlight the increasing need for an integrated growth strategy in regulated industries. Integration between the business and channel team facilitates a faster reaction to the rising demands of the international market. Thus, Smarsh intends to extend its presence in the international market at once. This integration is important since it helps coordinate sales, product, and customer support departments.
In addition, today’s financial organizations seek scalable solutions for managing digital risks. It is possible to say that Smarsh is ready to benefit from the increased demand from enterprises due to the described executive alignment. Hence, the commercial team will pay special attention to the extension of the partner network in the international market.
