Sagent CEO Appointment: Chris Marshall to Scale Dara Mortgage Platform

Sagent CEO Chris Marshall has the goal of extending the Dara platform into the overall United States residential market. Sagent has appointed board chairman Chris Marshall as the Chief Executive Officer, as of January 5. Chris had been leading key mortgage, banking. He gained fintech experience before assuming his new role and will apply that expertise to advance the mortgage technology firm. At the same time, current Sagent CEO Geno Paluso becomes Vice Chairman.

Expanding Dara Across the U.S. Mortgage Market

Under this new leadership, Marshall will be working with Sagent’s executive team, and additionally. He will work with their customers and prospects of all sizes, including many of America’s top mortgage servicers. Sagent’s Dara mortgage platform delivers a cloud-native, real-time servicing system that unifies data and integrates AI experiences. This end-to-end platform supports core, consumer, and default servicing workflows across the $14.6 trillion mortgage servicing sector. Marshall served as Vice Chairman and President of Mr. Cooper, having helped turn it into America’s largest mortgage servicer. Under his executive leadership, Ally Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and Bank of America took key market leader positions.
