Rivian

Rivian, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has appointed Greg Revelle as its Chief Customer Officer. This is to focus Rivian’s electric vehicle customer strategy. This is a significant addition to Rivian’s leadership as it is about to roll out R2 in 2026. As a top executive, Greg Revelle will oversee the whole customer pathway. His new responsibilities include sales, marketing, brand engagement, and operations. Greg Revelle has just founded his new company, Revatek, which is a startup that concentrates on storing energy outdoors. Greg previously held top positions at Kohl’s, Best Buy, AutoNation, and Expedia. Additionally, he is a board member of Cars.com.

“We are excited that Greg is bringing his deep experience across eCommerce. Marketing, and automotive to Rivian,” said Rivian Founder and CEO RJ Scaringe. “ Greg has a proven track record of leading large teams in a dynamic environment.”

Strategic Leadership Shift Ahead of R2 Launch

The hiring of Revelle comes as Rivian prepares to enter production with its R2. Which is an SUV model with five seats based on its medium-size electric-vehicle platform. The R2 will be unleashed in the market in the first half of 2026. Rivian views the new executive hire as a strategic move. It strengthens the company’s market readiness ahead of its next product launch.

“Rivian’s commitment to AI and software-defined vehicles is something I’ve admired for a while,” said Revelle.

The company has built versatile, intuitive vehicles that solve real-world needs for customers. Seamlessly bridging the gap between daily utility and outdoor adventure. I’m looking forward to helping the company scale and bring R2 to market in the coming year.”
