Powerhouse

Powerhouse today announced two major executive appointments to accelerate national growth. Consequently, the company elevated Sue McCarty to Chief Revenue Officer and Justin Figley to Chief Operating Officer. Both promotions recognize dedicated leaders who built their professional careers directly within Powerhouse operations.

“Sue and Justin have spent their careers building Powerhouse from the inside out,” said Michael Wroughton, Chief Executive Officer. “Sue and Justin truly embody Powerhouse’s vision statement of ‘Having a Positive and Lasting Impact on People’ in every way as they lead our internal teams to realizing their full potential while consistently creating a raving fan experience with our customers. Powerhouse has always been a company that invests in its people, and being able to elevate leaders like Sue and Justin from within is one of the things I’m proudest of. This is a strong team, and I could not be more excited about what we’re going to do together.”

Driving Commercial Revenue Growth and Strategic Client Partnerships

Ms. McCarty joined Powerhouse in 2008 and brings over 18 years of company experience. Initially, she advanced through various project management positions into senior operational leadership. Recently, she managed all revenue-generating units at Powerhouse as Senior Vice President of Operations. Subsequently, she stepped into the role of Executive Vice President of Business Development to build the brand’s growth engine. Now, as Chief Revenue Officer, she oversees future revenue strategy for Powerhouse nationwide.

“This past year in Business Development showed me just how much runway Powerhouse has, and I’m excited to keep driving that growth,” said McCarty. “As Chief Revenue Officer, I’ll continue building the strategy and the team that turn that opportunity into results, and doing it in a way that deepens the relationships we’ve already built with clients across the country.”

Scaling Operational Infrastructure Across National Markets

Meanwhile, Mr. Figley contributes nine years of operational experience at Powerhouse alongside extensive real estate leadership. He first joined Powerhouse in 2015 as a Project Manager after managing projects for Nationwide Retail Services. Later, he served as Senior Manager of Real Estate at Lidl US and Director of Construction at Save-A-Lot. He returned in 2018 as Director of Operations before advancing to Senior Vice President of Operations. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations before stepping into the Chief Operating Officer role.

“Powerhouse is entering a new stage of growth, and our operations have to scale right alongside it,” said Figley. “As COO, I’m focused on continuing to drive the positive changes we’ve made in our operational processes and in the customer experience building the infrastructure and consistency to take on more business, in more markets, without ever compromising the reliability our clients count on.”

Ultimately, these executive appointments reflect ongoing investments by Powerhouse in internally developed leadership talent. The company continues to expand its national footprint across multi-site rollout, refresh, staffing, and retail merchandising services.
