o9 announced today that it has named Dr. Ashwin Rao as Executive Vice President, Next-Gen AI and Technology. With this decision, o9 intends to consolidate its enterprise AI leadership rank. Dr. Rao brings more than 20 years of experience across business, Wall Street and academia. In his last role, he was responsible for AI, data science & engineering teams & supported pricing, forecasting, supply chain & retail domains. Prior to that, he was at Goldman Sachs & Morgan Stanley for 15 years, where he developed quantitative & algorithmic trading models. He also teaches AI/ML & decisioning at a leading university and wrote a textbook on reinforcement learning and financial trading.
