Technology is revolutionizing education, enhancing both traditional and modern teaching approaches. A study by Project Tomorrow reveals that over two-thirds of U.S. teachers in middle and high school use digital learning systems daily. This digital shift is not only making education more accessible but also enabling personalized, brain-centric learning.

At the forefront of this transformation is Natella Horodetska, a seasoned educator with over 15 years of experience in child development. With advanced degrees in education and certification as a Montessori Early Childhood Assistant Teacher in the U.S., she has built a career around innovative, research-backed learning models.

Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Horodetska has founded several educational centers focused on mental arithmetic and cognitive growth. Her methods have helped shape Olympiad champions and have been instrumental in aiding children with special needs. She also developed an online platform that boosts memory, attention, and processing speed using tools like a virtual abacus and Oral Counting simulators. These tools engage both hemispheres of the brain, fostering not just knowledge, but confidence and cognitive agility.

Now based in Minnesota, she continues her work through Neuro Mental Math LLC, participating in global education summits and contributing to peer-reviewed research. In recognition of her contributions, Horodetska was honored with the Queen Anna Order and recently joined the jury panel of the ECDMA Global Awards, which celebrates innovation across digital education and marketing.

When asked about her motivation, Horodetska credits her passion for unlocking children’s true potential. “Children don’t lack ability – they lack tools,” she says. Her focus on mental arithmetic and speed reading stems from a desire to build thinking skills rather than just knowledge.

Looking ahead, she envisions a future where education is powered by interactive, adaptive technologies that enhance brain function rather than simply deliver information. Her goal is clear: to develop educational tools that strengthen children’s minds and build self-belief.

“Technology shouldn’t replace teachers – it should empower children,” Horodetska concludes. Through her work, she continues to pioneer a future where education is both smart and deeply human.
