Mattel, Inc. has officially announced the promotion of Roberto Stanichi to President, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer. In this elevated leadership role, Stanichi now directs the overall strategy for Mattel’s world-renowned portfolio. He leads global brand operations, market positioning, consumer insights, and product development. Consequently, his responsibilities cover powerhouses like Hot Wheels, Barbie, Fisher-Price, and UNO. Furthermore, he expands his duties as the primary Brand Officer across international markets.

Therefore, his strategic direction as senior Brand Officer continues to solidify Mattel’s commercial foundation.

Prior to his role as Chief Global Brand Officer, Stanichi served as Head of Vehicles and Building Sets. During that tenure, he orchestrated historic financial growth for Hot Wheels. Additionally, he managed Matchbox, Thomas & Friends, and MEGA BLOKS. Subsequently, he spearheaded the successful market launch of the Mattel Brick Shop platform.
Stanichi has 20 years of experience at Mattel and brings deep industry expertise. Most notably, he had major leadership roles across consumer categories. These were Infant, Toddler & Preschool, Action Figures, Building Sets, and Games. His extensive executive experience makes him uniquely qualified for his role as Brand Officer.
In sum, Mattel continues to establish its footprint in global play and family entertainment.
