Black & Veatch Appoints Katie Werner as President of Bird Electric

Black & Veatch today announced Katie Werner will serve as president of its Bird Electric division, a national provider of electrical construction services. Werner will lead efforts to strengthen electric utility infrastructure reliability and resiliency nationwide. In her new position, she will guide strategy for emergency power restoration and critical grid solutions. Werner brings more than two decades of engineering, operations, and project leadership experience to Bird Electric. Most recently, she directed large electric and infrastructure programs for public sector clients across North America.
