Transcat Announces Jaime Irick as New CEO and President

Transcat,  recently announced the appointment of Jaime Irick as its new President and CEO. Specifically, Irick will oversee the company’s calibration services and equipment operations starting March 29, 2026. He also joins the Transcat Board of Directors. Irick succeeds Lee D. Rudow, who retires after 14 years of leadership. Meanwhile, Rudow will remain a senior advisor through March 2027.

Irick brings extensive experience from multi-billion-dollar industrial and technology enterprises. Previously, he served as the CEO of Pittsburgh Paints Company. There, he successfully led a $2 billion carve-out and integrated a $1.1 billion transaction. Furthermore, he held senior roles at PPG Industries and General Electric. He holds degrees from West Point and Harvard Business School. Additionally, his background as a U.S. Army Officer highlights his strong leadership skills.
