Jacobs CHRO appointment marks a key leadership move as Jacobs appoints Cheryl Lim as Chief Human Resources Officer. The appointment of Jacobs CHRO is effective from May 18, 2026. Furthermore, Jacobs CHRO appointment emphasizes global HR strategies and talent transformation of the company. Lim will operate out of Dallas, Texas and will directly report to Chair and CEO Bob Pragada.
Furthermore, Lim brings over 20 years of senior HR leadership experience across global organizations. She was employed at Vertiv Holdings where she worked as a CHRO and Section 16 officer. Vertiv is a firm with revenues of over $10.2 billion and employs about 34,000 people. While working at Vertiv, she played a significant role in improving organizational performance. In addition, she ensured that HR activities were focused on delivering shareholder value and organizational growth.

Strengthening Global HR Leadership and Talent Strategy
Lim’s previous position before joining Vertiv was that of Vice President of Human Resources at ITT Inc. Where she supported the Connect & Control Technologies Business Unit. In her prior career stint, she had spent two decades at Honeywell International, serving in several top leadership positions in HR. At Honeywell, Lim oversaw human resource operations for the European, Middle Eastern, and African continents. Further, she provided oversight to corporate HR operations as well as enterprise transformations. Besides, Lim is an MBA from Pepperdine University, as well as holding a degree from the University of Leeds. She speaks both English and German languages fluently.
