Hitachi Solutions appoints Roger Lvin as CEO and President, marking a key leadership shift. The company confirmed the decision on April 8, 2026. The move takes effect immediately. Roger Lvin brings over 20 years of global leadership experience. He has consistently built high-performing organisations. Moreover, he has scaled technology-driven consulting businesses worldwide. His expertise helps enterprises turn digital innovation into measurable results.
Previously, Lvin served as Founding CEO of Hitachi Digital Services. During this time, he built the business from the ground up. Furthermore, he led its strategy, growth, and market positioning. As a result, the company became a recognised leader in digital transformation and IT–OT convergence. Under his leadership, the organisation earned strong credibility among global enterprises. These enterprises aimed to modernise operations and accelerate innovation. In addition, they focused on driving sustainable growth through advanced technologies.
Before joining Hitachi, Lvin held senior roles at Cognizant. Notably, he led its Digital Operations business. He successfully scaled it into a multi-billion-dollar global organisation. Therefore, his experience strengthens Hitachi Solutions’ leadership bench. With this appointment, Hitachi Solutions appoints Roger Lvin as CEO and President to drive future growth. Objectives to Enhance Digital Transformation Services Moreover, the company intends to extend its reach globally and enhance innovation.
Emphasis on Microsoft Cloud & AI Innovation
The firm will further extend its collaboration with Microsoft. The collaboration will involve deepening ties within the Hitachi organization. It is consistent with the “True One Hitachi” program. In addition, the teams globally will work on delivering transformation in large-scale projects using Microsoft’s AI-powered cloud and data solutions.These investments will support enterprise-wide digital transformation and business applications.
