Eptura Appoints First Chief AI Officer

Eptura

Eptura appointed Nuala Larkin as its first Chief AI Officer today. This new executive position marks a major milestone in Eptura’s enterprise transformation strategy. The decision also elevates AI leadership directly to the corporate C-suite. Larkin will lead companywide efforts to simplify daily workflows. Additionally, she will drive operational productivity and improve overall customer experiences.

Elevating Leadership to Scale Enterprise Operations

Such an appointment is quite logical in the case of Larkin. Previously, she had been leading the internal AI Center of Excellence at Eptura. In addition, she led the transformation of the company into the new operating model of a Frontier Firm. Larkin has a lot of experience in business processes and transformations in the sphere of technology. Earlier, she had been working in senior positions at Forcepoint. Her job scope included product management, customer success operations, and support services.

“AI creates real value when it moves beyond isolated experiments and becomes part of how a company operates,” said Raj Batra, CEO of Eptura. “Creating the Chief AI Officer role reflects how central AI has become to our business. Nuala has been leading this transformation across Eptura, making her the right person to guide its next phase.”

According to Microsoft, Frontier Firms move beyond basic experiments. These innovative companies embed artificial intelligence across their entire enterprise infrastructure. Consequently, they invest heavily in data systems, security protocols, skills development, and corporate culture.

Driving AI Productivity and Connected Workplace Innovations

Eptura successfully put this framework into action across its organization. First, the leadership team transitioned its R&D division toward AI-native operating models. Next, engineers identified high-value use cases to incubate and scale rapidly. As a result, Eptura surpassed its initial goal to boost internal productivity by 20%.

“AI adoption doesn’t happen when you give people new tools. It happens when AI becomes part of how teams work on a daily basis,” said Larkin. “Our focus is finding where AI removes friction, proving what works and making those approaches repeatable across Eptura.”

Additionally, the company applies these valuable insights directly into its commercial software lineup. Earlier this year, Eptura expanded its comprehensive suite of intelligent assistants and autonomous agents. The system connects critical facility, asset, visitor, and real estate data streams seamlessly. Therefore, commercial clients improve overall performance across their physical operations.

Furthermore, Eptura builds its core software platform on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. The architecture integrates with Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Places, Outlook, and Teams. Currently, developers build natural language tools for maintenance crews and office workers. Through these ongoing efforts, Eptura delivers intelligent solutions that continuously optimize workplace performance.
