Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services, has appointed Santiago Arias Duval as Executive Vice-President. This appointment is for Americas region, effective November 17, 2025.
In this new role, Arias Duval will report directly to Hinda Gharbi, Chief Executive Officer of Bureau Veritas. She will join the company’s Group Executive Committee.
Bureau Veritas recently implemented a new operating model, which became effective September 1, 2025. The creation of the Americas region is part of that structural evolution. It is designed to enable greater organizational alignment and growth across North, Central, and South America.
Experience and Strategic Contribution
Arias Duval adds a great deal of industrial and operational leadership experience to the job her hands. One of her major roles was that of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Precision Technologies at Ingersoll Rand. There, she was responsible for driving the company strategy, executing acquisitions, and delivering strong operational results.
With her leadership, the company plans to consolidate its presence in vibrant markets of the Americas region. Also, increase the volume of product lines and services and accelerate the deployment of its global solutions. The appointment aligns with the company’s strategic plan known as “LEAP 28”. It focuses on portfolio growth, performance improvement, and human capital development.
Bureau Veritas sees a lot of potential in the Americas region. The company intends to open up the value and increase the use of its services in different markets of the continent by providing this region with scalable product lines. Hence facilitating cross-selling opportunities. As a result, more of the company’s services, such as certification, testing, inspection, and advisory, can be utilized in various markets throughout the continent.
