Accelerant CFO Transition Completed with Linda S. Huber Appointment

Accelerant, a data-driven risk exchange platform, has appointed Linda S. Huber as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment follows the previously announced Accelerant CFO transition and strengthens its leadership in the specialty insurance marketplace. Huber brings extensive financial services experience, including nearly two decades serving as Chief Financial Officer at public companies. She will lead Accelerant’s global finance organization, overseeing accounting, financial planning, treasury, and tax functions. She will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Jeff Radke and support the company’s global growth strategy.

Career Background and Industry Experience

Huber previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at FactSet from 2021 to 2024. At FactSet, she led the global finance organization and managed accounting, corporate development, financial planning, treasury, tax, and investor relations. Before joining FactSet, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at MSCI. She also held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Moody’s Corporation.

Earlier, she held senior leadership roles across financial services organizations, building expertise in strategy, investment banking, and corporate finance. She served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at U.S. Trust Company, a subsidiary of Charles Schwab & Company. She also worked as Managing Director at Freeman & Co. and held senior finance roles at PepsiCo. Additionally, she contributed to investment banking at Bankers Trust Co. and The First Boston Corp. She served on the Board of Directors at the Bank of Montreal from April 2017 to August 2024.

During her tenure, she contributed to the Audit Committee and the Risk Review Committee. Huber served as a Captain in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1984, demonstrating early leadership experience. She earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University. Huber succeeds Jay Green, who resigned earlier to pursue personal interests.
