His appointment strengthens AvaSure as the healthcare technology developer advances its smart room platform for hospitals.
“We are delighted to welcome Patric to AvaSure,” said Greg Heller, Interim CEO of AvaSure. “I worked closely with Patric at Modernizing Medicine, and he is one of the finest leaders I have had the privilege of working alongside. I’m confident his leadership will help AvaSure continue to support health systems in delivering on their Smart Room strategy and advancing clinical workflows.”
Edmondson brings over thirty years of technology leadership experience to AvaSure. Throughout his career, he directed tech initiatives across healthcare and highly regulated sectors. He served as Chief Technology Officer at Modernizing Medicine for nine years. During that tenure, he led product development, cloud services, and compliance protocols for thousands of healthcare providers.
Most recently, Edmondson served as Chief Information Officer at The Specialty Alliance. “I am honored to join AvaSure at such an important moment for virtual care,” said Edmondson. “Hospitals depend on AvaSure to protect their patients, which makes security, scalability and reliability essential. Already in 170+ health systems, I look forward to partnering with the team at AvaSure and our customers to continue to bring the smart room to more health systems.”
Driving Virtual Care Innovation and Epic Platform Integration
