EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, today announced the appointment of Navi Grewal as Chief Digital, AI and Information Officer. Effective October 16, 2026, Ms. Grewal will report directly to Shawn O’Connell, President and Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, she will serve as an integral member of the EnerSys Executive Leadership Team.
In her key leadership position at EnerSys, Ms. Grewal will lead the company’s global digital, artificial intelligence, information technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise data strategy. Her major focus will be on upgrading the company’s global business systems and leading digital transformation efforts across the company. In addition, she will build a solid enterprise AI strategy. She will place much importance on secure and reliable operations of technology, data, and operational automation.
Leadership Experience in Global Industrial Sectors
With more than 28 years of executive experience in global industries, Ms. Grewal joins EnerSys. Her previous experience includes working in senior leadership positions in global technology companies and leading enterprise transformations in the global industrial, manufacturing, and consumer sectors. Most recently, she served as the Global Chief Digital and Technology Officer at MasterBrand Cabinets. In this position, she offered enterprise-wide leadership in technology, core applications, cybersecurity, risk management, AI, data, and digital strategy.
During her tenure at MasterBrand Cabinets, Ms. Grewal spearheaded major technology and digital transformation programs. These initiatives spanned core operating systems, advanced analytics, smart manufacturing technology, and comprehensive cybersecurity. Consequently, her efforts helped boost productivity and elevate operational performance across the entire business structure.
Before her work at MasterBrand Cabinets, she served in key executive leadership positions at DuPont. Specifically, she worked as Global Chief Information Officer for Water & Protection and Vice President of Enterprise Customer Experience. Earlier in her distinguished career, she held senior business and technology roles at Church & Dwight, Campbell Soup Company, and Exelon Corporation.

Ms. Grewal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Regional Engineering College in Jalandhar, India. In addition, she completed executive leadership development coursework through Columbia University.
