Pinterest announced today that James Dibbo will join the executive team as Chief Financial Officer. His official appointment takes effect on October 26, 2026. Dibbo will report directly to Bill Ready, Chief Executive Officer of Pinterest. In this key role, he will lead global finance, accounting, investor relations, treasury, and corporate development.
Dibbo brings extensive media, e-commerce, and corporate strategy experience to Pinterest. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Global Entertainment at Amazon. He directed financial strategies across Amazon Ads, Prime Video, MGM Studios, and Twitch. Furthermore, his decade-long Amazon tenure included leadership roles across Worldwide and North America Consumer divisions. Consequently, Dibbo helped scale large operations, expand profit margins, and build high-performing teams.

Leveraging Senior Leadership Experience to Drive E-Commerce Growth
Before joining Amazon, Dibbo served as Chief Financial Officer at P.F. Chang’s. Additionally, he held senior financial leadership positions at Tesco and BT Group. He initially launched his professional career at PwC in London. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cardiff University and holds FCA Chartered Accountant credentials.
In particular, Dibbo takes over as the financial head of the company from Julia Brau Donnelly on October 26, 2026. Julia Brau Donnelly shall continue to work at Pinterest as an advisor until October 30, 2026.
