Xceedance appointed insurance and technology leader Adrian Spieler to its Board of Directors today. The executive brings over 30 years of operational experience across insurance, reinsurance, and asset management. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Convex Insurance. Previously, he held executive roles at Swiss Re, Catlin, and XL Catlin. Consequently, his appointment strengthens leadership capabilities at Xceedance.
In his new governance role, Spieler will provide strategic guidance. Furthermore, he will help establish organizational goals and measure operational performance. His addition supports Xceedance as the company expands its global market footprint.
“Technology-enabled transformation is reshaping the insurance and reinsurance industries,” said Spieler, “and I am delighted to be joining the Board of Directors of Xceedance at such an exciting stage in the company’s growth. I look forward to drawing on my experience across underwriting, operations, and platform strategy to help guide Xceedance’s continued success.”
Strengthening Global Expansion Strategy
Xceedance continues delivering technology-driven business solutions for global re/insurers. The platform combines deep domain knowledge with digital capabilities to transform operating models.
“Adrian’s deep operational and technology expertise across the re/insurance value chain makes him an exceptional addition to our board,” said Arun Balakrishnan, Chief Executive Officer at Xceedance. “His insights will be invaluable as we continue to scale our business and expand our footprint across global re/insurance markets.”
At present, Xceedance has more than 350 customers on board globally. These customers range from commercial lines, personal lines, brokers, and Lloyd’s of London companies. In addition, the organization employs over 5,500 staff in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.
In addition, Xceedance uses artificial intelligence and data analytics to enhance its core insurance functions. These include underwriting, claims processing, and policy management. Consequently, these clients get the opportunity to grow in a profitable manner amidst market changes.
Finally, the acquisition of Spieler means that Xceedance will have leadership talent to expand its technology products.
