SureWerx, a global manufacturer of personal protective equipment, safety products, tools and equipment solutions, has appointed Erik Pertot as Vice President and General Manager, SureWerx EMEA. The appointment demonstrates SureWerx’s commitment to growing its European business. Pertot will also report to Chief Executive Officer Scott Dowell and will be responsible for growth, manufacturing and merger and acquisition activities throughout Europe for the company’s global portfolio.
With over 20 years of international leadership experience, Pertot joins SureWerx. His career includes running engineering, quality, marketing, sales, international supply chain, product management and general business operations. He has also developed significant expertise in the personal protective equipment industry. His experience includes leadership in managing compliance driven programs, facilitating organizational change and supporting business growth across multinational organizations.
Most recently, Pertot was the Global General Manager for Footwear and Fall Protection at Protective Industrial Products (PIP). He also served in senior leadership roles in portfolio management during his tenure. Therefore, he gained valuable experience in leading strategic product initiatives and driving operational performance across global markets.
Extensive Leadership of Global Safety Businesses
Before joining PIP, Pertot held a number of leadership roles at Honeywell Safety Products. His responsibilities steadily grew during his career. He has also been Global Line of Business Leader, Director of Portfolio Management, Director of Offering Management, Global PPE Product Quality Leader and Engineering Technical Leader for Intelligent Hearing Protection.
In these capacities, Pertot oversaw portfolio simplification initiatives and assisted with mergers and acquisitions. He also managed factory relocations and warehouse changes for several operations. He also helped grow the global personal protective equipment business through disciplined execution, regulatory compliance and customer-focused strategies.

Pertot holds an MBA from Staffordshire University, an MPhil in Computer Science and Technology with a specialization in ATEX Design from ARU Cambridge University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Trieste. Additionally, he speaks fluent English and is a native speaker of both Italian and Slovenian.
His international education and multilingual background further strengthen SureWerx’s leadership team as the company advances its long-term European expansion strategy.
